I say no. Using nothing but off-site submissions, press release directories, article directories and the like we took a reasonably new site and generated over 100,000 hits without doing any on-site SEO. - Forums – One of the many ways you can start to promote your site is by visiting forums in your niche. Start building your reputation on that subject area while slowly promoting your site at the same time.
